Club Activities

Cyber Competitions

Our cyber competition teams compete in national competitions every semester. Our flagship team, NCC-1701, has ranked first in the National Cyber League and competed in offline events such as Wicked6 and CyberSEED.

Workshops

We hold hands-on workshops in UNR's Full Spectrum Cybersecurity Lab at least once a month. Stop by to learn about web penetration testing, reverse engineering, network scripting, and other cybersecurity topics.

Cyber Clinics

We hold Cyber Clinics to help improve community cybersecurity practicies. We've held Cyber Clinics at the Reno Air Races, the Governor’s Mansion, and the Attorney General’s Office.

Location

Our meeting location is UNR's Full Specturm Cybersecurity Lab (FSC), located in LME 321. We use the lab computers for workshops and activities. The computers are not on the NetID system; please request an account at one of the general meetings.

For the 2021-2022 school year we are meeting in person in the FSC (except first meeting). Join our discord server for our first meeting, future announcements and activities.

Contribute

Workshops

We host at least one workshop each month in the FSC Lab. Club members are encouraged to propose workshops or help others create workshop materials.
